<trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>The article examines the role of nutrition as an additional factor in the treatent of rheumatoid arthritis (hereinafter – RA). Foodomics data on the mechanisms of nutrition influence on the pathogenesis of RA are presented from the perspective of modulation of immuno-inflammatory processes, changes in the intestinal microbiota, and regulation of gene expression associated with inflammation. The key areas of research are summarized – from individual nutrients to complex dietary approaches. Besides, we present scientific data on the role of nutrients and beverages in reducing RA activity, as well as current recommendations from international rheumatology communities. Special attention is paid to the Mediterranean diet, which has the greatest evidence base.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>диетотерапия</kwd><kwd>международные рекомендации</kwd><kwd>микроРНК</kwd><kwd>микробиота</kwd><kwd>нутриенты</kwd><kwd>ревматоидный артрит</kwd><kwd>фудомика</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>diet therapy</kwd><kwd>international recommendations</kwd><kwd>microRNAs</kwd><kwd>microbiota</kwd><kwd>nutrients</kwd><kwd>rheumatoid arthritis</kwd><kwd>foodomics</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><title>References</title><ref id="cit1"><label>1</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">Moskvicheva M., Sopova O.
