<trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>The aim of the study was to evaluate the treatment outcomes of patients with varicose veins clinical classes C4-C6 by CEAP.</p>
<title>Material and methods</title><p>Material and methods. Laboratory and instrumental methods of examinations, including Doppler Ultrasound examination and Duplex Angiography, were used.</p>
<title>Results</title><p>Results. Our research proved that surgical interventions on the patients with varicose veins complicated by trophic disorders should be based on individual and comprehensive approach, and should be aimed at eliminating the underlying hemodynamic disorders and relieving clinical symptoms and arresting trophic disorders.</p>
<title>Conclusion</title><p>Conclusion. While choosing treatment options for patients with varicose veins complicated by trophic disorders, it is necessary to assess the patient’s condition (concomitant pathology), the presence of a trophic ulcer and its characteristics (phase of inflammation, area, persistence period). Surgical treatment methods should be necessitated pathogenically, aiming at eliminating the pathological reflux with minimal tissue damage.</p>
</trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>варикозная болезнь нижних конечностей</kwd><kwd>вертикальный и горизонтальный рефлюкс</kwd><kwd>трофические язвы</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>varicose veins</kwd><kwd>vertical and horizontal reflux</kwd><kwd>trophic ulcers</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><title>References</title><ref id="cit1"><label>1</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">Baghdadi L.R., Alshalan G.F.
